Cargo condensers (LPG & NH3)

Cargo condensers are installed in LPG or ammonia gas carriers to condense cargo that is vaporized from heat ingress into the tanks. Farad fabricates condensers of the shell and tube type.

Materials

Materials are sourced from reputable EU manufacturers and material thickness is higher than that required by the relevant design code.

Design

Industry leading heat exchanger design software is licensed by Farad to establish heat exchanger dimensions as well as material thickness. Applicable codes are ASME division VIII, TEMA, IGC and the relevant classification society.

Approvals

Third party approval based on customer requirement. All marine classification society approvals may be given.
