The condenser is used in refrigeration systems that dump excess heat into seawater or freshwater. The refrigerant flows in the shell and the water in the tubes. The FC line of condensers employs enhanced tube with fins on the outside and grooves on the inside for maximum heat transfer efficiency.
The FC condenser is used when the refrigerant condenses against water, as opposed to air. It is suited to HVAC installation on ships where cold medium is seawater. It can also be used for HVAC installations in industry.
Model range: 14 kW to 1450 kW of condensing duty.
Materials are sourced from reputable EU manufacturers and material thickness is higher than that required by the relevant design code. The heat exchanger is designed to have a long service life. Low fin tubes are used in Cu and CuNi 90/10 material. Low finned tubes are a reliable solution for controlling the temperature of gases and liquids and condensing refrigerants. They offer large heat transfer surface area, therefore provide potential to save in terms of materials and fill volumes. Tubes sheets are available in C. Steel, Stainless Steel and Bimetallic (CuNi90/10 and Steel).
